About TT Equine

With 18 years coaching experience, Tor is sympathetic, knowledgable and encouraging. Covering all disciplines and experience levels, Tor is keen to be a part of your equine journey, whether you’re a competitive rider or a happy hacker.

With a no nonsense approach to her sessions, Tor’s methods and direction are clear and concise. With a background ranging from training young horses, to working for an international show jumper abroad, there isn’t much that Tor hasn’t come across.

Tor is an advocate for the scales of training, and this comes across in her coaching. She spends the time getting to know her riders and their horses, identifying any gaps in their knowledge or training, and works with them to fill these gaps to create a stronger foundation on which to build upon.

Tor is a strong believer in making your hobby as enjoyable as possible. It’s far too easy for riders to apply too much pressure to their own ability and progress, which can take the fun out of it! She has a good sense of humour, and this comes across in her sessions.

Tor, Reuben, Tommy

Tor genuinely cares about her riders and how they progress, as well as holding the horse’s welfare at the centre of her ethos.

Tor is quick to pinpoint issues that can be resolved, and always has a method and an exercise to keep things interesting.

With a keen interest in horse and rider biomechanics, Tor is a stickler for rider position and how we directly and indirectly influence the horse - not much gets past her!
